What Phase 3 is for
Phase 3 is the task layer. It is for a business that needs SWMS for its high risk construction work, safe operating procedures for its workshop machinery, a site plan for projects where it is the principal contractor, working forms, and registers.
The SWMS follow the content section 299 of the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2025 (NSW) requires, with a high risk construction work checklist, risk ratings before and after controls, a monitoring checklist and a sign-on sheet. Their controls match the Phase 2 welding fume control decision matrix and the Phase 4 ventilation and respirator standards; where those phases are not purchased, the SWMS still stand alone.
